Building "Handbook of Emotional Neurosurgery" meant working closely with art direction to translate classic mad-scientist horror — Universal-era shadows, anatomical sketches, cold surgical light — into a look we could actually shoot on a tight budget. Every prop was sourced secondhand or borrowed, every rental negotiated, every choice of lens and lighting equipment made to build that world without breaking the budget. The result: a fully realized period aesthetic, constructed frame by frame through resourcefulness as much as design.
