"I'm Not Hungry" was my first short film, shot as a student — and shot on 35mm, a format that raises the stakes on every decision when working with almost no budget. I wrote, directed, produced, and distributed it myself, learning firsthand what it takes to carry an independent film from script to screen with limited resources. Producing something as demanding as a 35mm shoot on a shoestring budget was formative: it forced me to be resourceful at every stage, from financing to post-production. The film premiered at BAFICI 2024.
